Setting up 'POP' for G-Mail:


Step 1: Locate and Click 'Settings' in the top-right hand corner of your screen.

Step 2: Click on the 'Accounts and Import' link

Step 3: Locate and click 'Add a POP3 mail account you own'.

Step 4: Enter in your Montana Tech  e-mail address.

Step 5: Enter in your Montana Tech username and password

Step 6: The POP server is POPmail.MTECH.EDU

Step 7: Choose whether or not to leave a copy of messages in your Montana Tech Inbox.

Step 8: Click Next. When asked if you want to send mail from your MTech account say NO. You will not be able to send MTECH mail through another client using POP, only recieve.

Step 9: Switch to the 'General' tab and 'Save Changes'

Step 10: Click Finish.
