DIRECT ACCESS TO YOUR MAILBOX: Can I skip the default LOGIN page?

Yes, you can access your mailbox directly by entering a URL that already includes your mailbox name.  This URL can then be saved as a "Favorite" for easy access to your mailbox within your web browser.  When you use this syntax you will be IMMEDIATELY prompted for your USERNAME/PASSWORD without any further ado.  The correct syntax is: 

     http://WEBmail.MTECH.EDU/exchange/USERNAME

where you replace the string USERNAME with your mailbox name. 

So for example: a user called ABSMITH would enter:http://WEBmail.MTECH.EDU/exchange/ABSMITH to directly access their ABSMITH mailbox, skipping our normal login page. 

If you save a 'favorite' using this syntax to bypass the normal login page, please remember to check the normal login page 'now and then' to see if we have modified any of the informational messages located there.
