Getting Started With E-Mail

From www.mtech.edu you will find the E-Mail login button. This is located on the top right hand side.

This is the next screen that you will see.
Select the appropriate login area (student or faculty/staff)

After selecting your login area you will be prompted for you mailbox name. This is just your username and does not require anything else (i.e. mtechs\ or username@mtech.edu).

After you either press the 'Enter' key or click 'Open' you will once again be prompted for your username. This time you will also be prompted for your password.

NOTE: Your username may require mtechs\ to be placed before your username in order for the login process to work.

After you are logged in you will see the following screen

• Right hand side will be your reading window that will show the message
• Left hand side will have a list of folder in your mailbox
• The center will have a list of messages in the folder you are viewing (usually the Inbox folder)
