Lab Safety
Students

A Lab Safety section will be added to all Montana Tech courses with labs. Students should follow instructors' directions regarding date and grade requirements.

Lab safety will consist of a Pre-test and Final test, located in Blackboard. Study material can be found under the Lab Safety course in Blackboard. (Content and test may be specialized to each lab's specific focus.) The final test can be re-taken.

Lab Safety content is managed by Prof. Marylin Cameron.

Did You Know? Lab Safety has its own tab in MyMtech, containing a summary of your tests.

Lab safety will appear as a class on your course list in the MyMtech portal. Click on the Lab Safety class to access it in Blackboard. Once in the Blackboard Lab Safety course locate your individual lab section.

Each course has its own study material, Pre-test, and Final Test. Read the introduction and take the Pre-Test (this test can only be taken once, but it does not effect your Lab Safety grade.)

You will need a 90% or above on the final test in order to pass (you can take the test as many times as you need too).
