Lab Safety
Instructors

Every student enrolled in a course which includes a lab will be enrolled in a Lab Safety course. Instructors should inform students if the online

information and tests will be used.

If you want a lab course to use the online information/test, contact Marylin Cameron before the start of the semester. When courses have started you will begin to receive an e-mail containing a list of students who have not taken or passed the test. Students should not participate in lab if he/she has not passed the test.

To enter the Lab Safety course click on the link in the Blackboard courses and Announcements Channel, unde the MyMtech tab.

Click on the Lab Safety button.

Scroll down to find your course in the list.

Each course has its own study material, Pre-test, and Final Test. Read the introduction and take the Pre-Test (this test can only be taken once, but it does not effect your Lab Safety grade.)

Did You Know? Lab Safety has its own tab in MyMtech. Students will see a summary of the tests they need to take. Instructors will see a summary of their students progress for the tests.
