Course Cartridge Course cartridges are pre-created information for Blackboard. Textbook publishers create this content specifically to use along with their books. The content provided can be anywhere from outlined notes on the book, tests created for chapters or sections, and a wide variety of online resources for instructors and students. Cartridges must be “adopted” from the publisher. Some publishers will provide the content with a textbook order, while others will make the instructor purchase the content.
