Digital DropBox

Although the Digital Dropbox is still available is has several short comings. For this reason we strongly advise the use of the assignments feature instead.

The digital dropbox is an area where students and instructors can exchange files, without the need for e-mail. The dropbox acts as an inbox for assignments.

Instructors will see the entire class, student users will only see items in the dropbox with their name on it.

• Students Send the file the instructor
• Instructor grades, and puts back in the digital dropbox for the student to view

First enter your course and click on Tools from the left side bar. Click Digital Drop Box.

Never use special characters or spaces in file names, as the instructor will be unable to open the files.

Add File: Allows you to store the file on the Blackboard Server to turn it in later. (Your instructor will not know the files are there.)

Send File: allows you to either send a file you have previously uploaded to your teacher, or upload and send the file all at the same time.
