How do I get my password?

Your password is used for MyMtech, Moodle, E-Mail and Campus Computers.

To retrieve your password click on the link "New to Montana Tech?..." as shown below.

You will be prompted for your last name and student I.D. If you do not have your student I.D. you can find it on your Digger Card, admission acceptance letter or by calling the Registrar's Office at 496--4256. If you continue having difficulty retrieving your username and password, please contact the help desk at (406)- 496-4244 or by email CTShelpdesk@mtech.edu.

The username is case sensitive, so it is important to enter it correctly. Students have the first 3 letters of their username capitalized, the rest are lower case. Example is listed when you retrieve your password.

Once you have your username and password, you are ready to login. The next screen you will see our Central Authentication Service (CAS) screen. CAS in our single sign on solution that allows you to seamlessly access MyMtech and Moodle without re-entering your username and password.
