A minimum of 31 graduate credits, including up to six graduate research credits, is required for a MS degree in Technical Communications at Montana Tech. Sample MSTC courses include TC Productions, Intercultural Communication, Research Methods, Technical Writing & Editing, Special Topics courses, and Independent Study.

The MSTC degree also requires the completion of a graduate thesis, project, or publishable paper.
