Karen has been Director of Nursing since 1989. She is currently enrolled at the University of Montana in the Educational Leadership doctoral program. Karen earned both her master and bachelor degree’s in nursing from Montana State University. Karen enjoys running, skiing and spending time at the family cabin on the Big Hole River.

Karen is passionate about nursing and nursing education. She serves on numerous local and state level boards which focus on healthcare issues. She is currently involved in a Robert Wood Johnson nursing grant and is the curriculum coordinator.
