Kelly Amtmann MSN
Associate Professor of Nursing
Montana Tech of the University of Montana
Hello to everyone. My name is Kelly Amtmann and I teach for the nursing program at Montana Tech. I received a Bachelor’s of Arts in Nursing from Carroll College in 1988 and a Master’s of Science of Nursing in the Family Nurse Practitioner option in 1997 from Gonzaga University. I have worked in many different areas in nursing including acute critical care, long-term care, psychiatric nursing, community health and primary care. This is currently my tenth year at Montana Tech and teaching is definitely what I love most of all. I am from Butte, I have three beautiful daughters and I am married to John, who also teaches here at Tech. I am currently enrolled in the Educational Leadership doctoral program at the U of M and hope to focus my dissertation on some aspect of nursing education. |
