of gradient, curl, and divergence from the physical viewpoint.
Line, surface, and volume integrals are introduced informally
and the course culminates in the theorems of Gauss, Green, and
Stokes. Illustrations are drawn from mechanics,
electromagnetism, fluid and heat flow, and diffusion. Prerequisites:
MATH 2236, 2256; PHYS 1046 or consent of instructor. (On
