The Degree: Focused on developing future leaders in health information technology, Montana Tech's degree program in Health Care Informatics (HCI) stands as the nations's first undergraduate HCI degree. With many of its courses offered through distance education, the HCI program is offered as a Bachelor of Science degree. By offering a curriculum balanced between health care, information technology, and communications, graduates are prepared to serve as project managers at the interface of clinical care and information technology. With rapid growth in health information technology, job prospects are exceptional throughout the health care industry.

Southwestern Montana.
The first students from this program graduated May 2005.
