Senior Design Project Presentation Requirements

Every student doing an internship or senior design project is required to make a presentation at some time during the period in which they earn their 4 credits. This presentation should be approximately 20 minutes in length with an additional 10 minutes for questions. Visual aids should be used and appropriate dress worn. A copy of your talk, along with a copy of your visual aids, should be given to your faculty advisor at the time of your presentation.

If you did a senior design project please include the following:

  • What you did for your project. (If you developed software, please demonstrate the software.)
  • What motivated you to work on this project?
  • What were your learning objectives and how did you achieve them?
  • How do you see this project being used?
  • Describe the development process that you used for this project and any new skills that you developed.
  • Discuss the things that you liked, and didn’t like, about this project.
