The chapter and section references in this course outline are to the textbook in this
course, Physical Chemistry for the
Biosciences, Raymond Chang,
University Science Books, Sausalito CA,
2005.
Note that the material in the course is based more on my lecture notes than it is on any
particular textbook and hence the course outline does not move linearly through the
textbook.
All of the outline topics are active links to Power Point presentations of my lectures.
For directions on how to access these lectures click here.
The Problem Sets are active links to MicroSoft Word Documents that contain from one to
usually several problems that best match the topic with which they are associated.
In each Problem Set the problems are generally arranged from easiest to more
difficult. In most cases a numerical answer is provided with each problem to assist
you in determining if you have most likely worked the problem correctly.
The number is parentheses below each problem number is not part of the problem,
but is a key to the location of the problem solution.
