MATH 1516 Calculus With Algebra Enhancement 4 Cr. (Hrs. 4 Lec.) Includes a review of selected topics of college algebra and the standard first semester calculus offerings. Algebra topics include the study of factoring, laws of exponents, polynomial, rational and elementary functions. Calculus topics include the study of limits of functions, continuous functions, tangents and derivatives, implicit differentiation, extreme values, curve sketching, antiderivatives, integrals of continuous functions, the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus, and vectors. Prerequisite: MATH 1056 and 1066 or equivalent. (1st, 2nd, Summer)
