Montana Minds Scholarships National Science Foundation

During the Montana Minds Scholar's freshman and sophomore years trips to national laboratories will be arranged. These trips will give the students a chance to witness science and mathematics applied on a grand scale, as well as a chance to observe scientists, mathematicians, computer scientists, and software engineers at work. National laboratories that we hope to visit include those noted below:

	Idaho National Laboratory
A 500 KW reformer that converts diesel fuel into hydrogen rich gas.
Rocky Mountain Laboratories
	Working in the Biosafety Level-4 Laboratory
	Pacific Northwest National Laboratory
Molecular beam epitaxy is used to create a continuous thin film of metal layer upon metal oxide.
