Timothy Kober is the Department Head of the Business & Information Technology (BIT) program.  He began teaching at Montana Tech in 1989, and teaches Cost Accounting, Governmental Accounting, Corporate Tax, and Principals of Economics.   Professor Kober received a BA in economics, BS in accounting, and an MBA in finance. He is currently working on his Ed.D. in educational leadership with an expected completion date of 2008,  from the University of Montana.  He holds certifications as a CPA, CMA, and CFM.  Professor Kober's consulting and research areas include: Income tax, business valuation, and accounting education.
