Lance Edwards has an A. A. and a B.S. in Business Administration from U of M, Missoula, and an M. B. A. from City University in Bellevue, WA, and a Doctor of Management from Colorado Tech University in Colorado Springs. Prior to coming to Montana Tech in 2003, Professor Edwards taught at the Flathead Valley Community College, Montana, and Otero Junior College in Colorado. The Colorado Education Foundation presented Dr. Edwards with the 2001 Wartgow Teaching in Technology Award and he was named online Faculty of the Year by the State Board of the Colorado Community Colleges. Lance began teaching in 1992 and has returned home to Montana to continue his career. He teaches Management, Entrepreneurship, and Economics. He also brings 17 years of experience as a business and accounting manager to the classroom. His research interests are in middle management and organizational behavior.
