Organic Reactions

Organic Reactions discusses the history and details of important organic synthetic reactions, devoting a chapter to each reaction. Each reaction is accompanied by tables that attempt to provide a comprehensive listing of all known examples of that reaction. Limitations, interfering influences, structural effects, and experimental techniques are covered for each reaction. Author and Chapter and Topic Indices to the cumulative volumes are included in each volume, while the Subject Index is specific to the particular volume. The collection, which began in 1942, now comprizes 53 volumes, as of 1999. Volumes 1-20 of Organic Reactions are available in the Montana Tech Library.
