1. Research the companies who are attending. Through DIGGERecruiting, search the companies who are recruiting your major. See Who's Coming!
2. Practice your Elevator Pitch or 90-second INFOmercial.
3. Make a good 1st impression. Dress professionally! Even companies who are casual still expect that students dress up to meet them.
4. Greet employers with a firm handshake and make good eye contact.
5. Communicate your related skills, strengths and experience with enthusiasm, don’t monopolize the recruiters time.

Career Fairs
Each semester, employers come to campus to meet with students who are seeking internships or jobs. In total, more than 100 employers attend the Montana Tech Career Fair in the Fall and the CareerSmart Fair in the Spring.

Career Services supports the mission, academic programs, and advancement of the institution by promoting career development, and by providing exceptional customer service in a professional, enthusiastic, and thoughtful manner in order to create positive attitudes for success.
Within this context, the mission of Career Services is to serve Montana Tech students, alumni, and employers by assisting students and alumni with career exploration, preparation, implementation and management, and assisting employers in connecting with students, alumni, faculty and administration.
