Admissions Standards & Requirements for Returning
Students
Requirements
Returning students are required to turn in the following
items for their admissions file:
- Application
- Official college transcripts (sent from the school in a sealed
envelope) from each college attended since your last attendance
at Montana Tech or the College of Technology
Standards
Returning students are required to meet the following standards
for admission to Montana Tech:
- You must have a minimum cumulative GPA from your previous attendance
at Montana Tech of 2.0. If your GPA is below a 2.0 or you have been
suspended once, you will be re-admitted on probation. If you have
been suspended twice, you will need to petition the Academic Standards
Committee and receive approval before being re-admitted.
