Greetings all potential international students and thank you for your interest in Montana Tech. We are proud that Montana Tech's students enjoy small class sizes and hands-on learning. Montana Tech boasts many undergraduate programs, ranging from Liberal Studies to Geophysical Engineering. A complete list of Degrees offered at Montana Tech is available.

In order to be admitted as an International Undergraduate Student, you must complete all items under the application checklist link that is located at the side menu bar. Once you have been admitted, you will be issued a Certificate of Eligibility , referred to as a Form I 20. This is the form that you will take to the United States Embassy or Consulate in order to be granted a F-1 student visa.

Some other important steps are:

• If you want to begin school in August 2007 (fall semester), priority scholarship deadline is February 1st, 2007. Scholarships are given on an academically competitive basis and are not guaranteed! You cannot apply for scholarships until after you have applied for admission. There is a separate scholarship application which must accompany your application for admission, and both applications must be turned in to be considered for scholarships. You should also submit your academic transcripts with your scholarship application.

• If you are a freshman, you must live on campus your first year. The residence life application is due no later than June 1st, 2007 for fall semester 2007. The application for residence life is also available on line. If you are a transfer student, you may choose to live on or off campus. If you choose to live off-campus, you must find and pay for housing once you have arrived in the United States.
