Leslie was raised in Oregon and spent a year in Germany as an exchange student in high school. She graduated from Eastern Oregon University in 1992 with a bachelor's degree in Geography and Regional Planning. Leslie moved to Butte 1998 with her family and began working as an Admissions Counselor for Montana Tech College of Technology. Her current position as Assistant Director of Admissions is responsible for providing information about Montana Tech's two-year associate of applied science degrees. She coordinates campus visits, scholarships, and other programs related to the College of Technology.
