Biology

Grace H. Anderson
I am a senior in Molecular Biology with minors in Math and Statistics. I am from Idaho City, Idaho, and enrolled at Tech in Fall of 2009 following high school graduation. I enjoy cooking, baking, exercising, and reading food blogs. I'm allergic to cold weather and have a cat named Alice.

 

 

 

 

Engineering

Daniel Zieske
A first year Grad student in Environmental Engineering, Daniel tutors Engineering classes as well as offering advice on any subject in exchange for baked goods.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Patrick Jentz
I am a senior majoring in Civil Engineering. I tutor Engineering classes at The Learning Center. I am from Kalispell, MT. Outside of school, I am involved in EWB(Engineers Without Borders) and BSU(Baptist Student Union). Secretly, I am the terminator.

 

 

 

 

Aaron Olson
My major is in Petroleum. I am a senior, but on the five year plan. I tutor statics, fluids, mech. of materials, and thermodynamics. I enjoy a good tutoring session, a good jam session, and huge nap sessions.

Dennis (D.J.) Moritz
I am a math major in my second year of classes. I will be tutoring Calculus I at first, then expanding to other math classes. In my free time, I enjoy a wide variety of activities including hiking in the Highland Mountains and video games such as Minecraft and Star Wars: The Old Republic. Hi, I am Bobbi Jean Murphy. I am a transfer student from Washington. I have received my AA focused in Mathematics and I am in my first year of a Petroleum Engineering degree. Currently, I am a math tutor.

I am a senior Statistics major and I will be tutoring Math. I am from Anaconda, MT, so I didn't travel too far from home. I spend most of my time hanging out with friends, lifting weights, running, and studying.

Kristen Parko
Hey! I'm Kristen. I am 20 years old & a sophomore at MT Tech. My major is cellular biology and i hope to attain a minor in chemistry. With these, I want to go to Med School and earn my right to practice general medicine in a clinic. I also have a 4 year old son and he's probably the reason why I am working so hard to get where I want to go. I tutor psychology in the Learning Center, so come see me! I am a student aide at TLC and this will be my second semester working there. My major is Mining Engineering with a business minor. My hobbies are snowboarding, fast cars, and exploring the beautiful area. This is my second year at Tech.

Logan Hark
This is my first year attending Montana Tech. I am pursuing a degree in General Engineering, with a focus on the Mechanical Option. I work as a Front Desk Aide in TLC and thoroughly enjoy this position, as it allows me to meet and greet all of Techs great students and point them in the direction to get the help they need to succeed.

I am in the process of completing my master's thesis project in Technical Communication with a specialty in Health Communication. I have worked as a professional freelance writer for more than 12 years and I am a certified teacher with experience at both the high school and college level.

Tyler Broden
Hi. My name is Tyler and I am a senior in Mathematics and a second year graduate student in metallurgical & materials engineering. I tutor through Calc. 2 and EGEN 213. This is my third year in TLC, and I've really enjoyed tutoring at Tech. I hope that you'll come see me in The Learning center if I can help you with your subjects. Gerard Charlemagne Favi
I am a student in Geophysical Engineering. I am in my final year doing a combined undergraduate and graduate degree, specializing in Seismic exploration techniques. The key subjects of this major are Math, Physics, and Geology. I am a Physics tutor and practice a lot of sports in my leisure time.
