Geophysical   Engineering   Internships   &   Scholarships

Internships are extremely important for geophysical engineers. Whether entering the petroleum, mining, or engineering/environmental industries, internships expose students to work applications of geophysics and allow students to learn the skills necessary to gain future employment upon graduation. All students are highly encouraged to pursue internships whether in industry, consortiums or laboratories.

Note: Not all companies attend the Montana Tech Career Fair. Attending the Rocky Mountain Rendezvous at the University of Wyoming, the annual SEG Conference, the annual AAPG Conference, and/or AGU are great ways to connect with a large variety of companies and networks.
