Session 11: Meaningful Student Employment - Wednesday, November 1, 2017

Tristan Sewell (Financial Aid) and Angela Stillwagon (Career Services) presented a Luncheon Learning session on student employment information.  Angela began with tips on providing meaningful student employment opportunities, including the competencies associated with career readiness.  Tristan outlined the process of hiring students and reviewed essential paperwork, policies, and time card changes.

Jenny Weigand, Education Supervisor, Montana Public Employee Retirement Administration, shared the advantages of participating in the MPERA Deferred Compensation Plan. She covered the enrollment process, how contributions are deducted, and designing the right retirement plan for you.

Session 7: Taking the Mystery Out of Retirement - Wednesday, January 18, 2017

Lyle Hansen, University of Idaho Extension A Solid Finances webinar presentation sponsored by the Montana State University Extension Service offered participants information on how to calculate the amount of income they will need to retire and determine additional savings needed for retirement, as well as other related types and strategies.
