Montana Minds scholars who are ready for calculus will be advised into M 171, Calculus I. Students who wern't quite ready for Calculus I will be advised into Pre-Calculus, M 151. We make every effort to enroll students into the mathematics course for which they are ready, which may be a lower level mathematics course than those listed above. The sections of the chemistry, communications, college success courses in these Learning Communities are set up, as nearly as possible, to be the same so that Montana Minds scholars generally would only be split up based on their math placement. In addition to the courses in these Learning Communities Montana Minds scholars would be advised to enroll in one other 3 credit course, most likely a course which would satisfy part of our general education core.
