Montana Minds Scholarships
National Science Foundation
Montana Minds Scholarships will be available in the 2013-2014 academic year to 20 first time college students who can demonstrate high academic achievement and financial need. We are particularly interested in supporting underrepresented minorities in these disciplines. Scholarship awardees must major in one of the following Science, Technology, Engineering, Statistics, and Mathematics or STEM disciplines:
These scholarships will provide up to $6,500 per year for four years. Montana Minds Scholarships are offered through a grant offered by the National Science Foundation and have special features to help ensure the success of these scholars such as:
- Learning communities
- Individual faculty advising
- College success course
- Student tutors/mentors
- Trips to national science & engineering laboratories
- Undergraduate research
- All expense paid trips to national conferences
Montana Minds is designed to prepare and educate students for successful careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
