Physical Plant
In 1948, construction on a carpenter’s shop, maintenance area, apartment, and garage began. This facility was completed in 1949. The building was designed by Butte architect Walter Arnold, and cost a little over $53,000 to complete. Earl Denny was the first director of the physical plant and was followed by his son-in-law, Walter Boehler. Rollo Shea is now the current director.
The upstairs apartment is now used for offices, where students can purchase parking permits.
