Colleges and Schools
The College of Letters, Sciences, and Professional Studies provides students with a rigorous fundamental education in their major disciplines and the skills to be life-long learners. This educational foundation prepares these students for rewarding and successful careers and to be informed citizens and leaders in their communities.
The School of Mines and Engineering is comprised of eight departments. Graduates have a sound science and engineering foundation, excellent design skills, and strong computer skills. The
college prides itself in preparing engineers and scientists for immediate professional practice and in giving them the skills and knowledge needed to
solve the problems of tomorrow.
Montana Tech’s College of Technology prepares traditional and non-traditional students for their personal and/or educational goals through the
integration of technology, communications, problem solving, and technical skills.
We are committed to expand educational opportunities through service learning with work-based activities, a blend of theory and practice, alternative course delivery, and computer literacy.
The Graduate School provides opportunities for advanced study and research
in science, engineering, and communication. Its aim is to foster a
community of closely associated faculty and post-baccalaureate scholars
imbued with a common interest in advanced professional study and creative
effort while seeking to stimulate extensive academic attainment by encouraging
diverse development in creative thought and accomplishment.
